What is this
A light weight personal music player that’s intend to replace spotify. Supports downloading music from youtube in mp3 format.
Note
To run in Linux/Mac:
- Open a terminal in the downloaded
MeowyPlayer-Macfolder - run
sudo chmod +x ./meowyplayer.com - run
./meowyplayer.com
To run in Windows:
- Anti-virus warning will pop up
- Click
Run Anyway
“From Remote” downloading feature accepts a youtube video url. Make sure the url ends with video ID, for example, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ is a valid link, since it ends with the video ID “dQw4w9WgXcQ”.
